The girlfriend and I had planned a trip up to a relatives cottage in the northern reaches of Muskoka. Despite the car’s brutal nature, Ms Cletus insisted we drive the Corvette all the way up there.
We slogged it through stop and go traffic out of town, bang shifted every on ramp and slid it around gravel corners in backwoods country. The car performed flawlessly and returned 12.1 MPG. It usually hovers around the 10 mark.
What a great way to spend a day. (And $80 of gas)

I see the patented Reidus Corner Marker Mounting System™ is still holding strong? :P

Actually I managed to find a matching NOS grill for the other side on the cheap and that works great

Yup, I see that turn signal/grill is matching now, so no more VW lense, but don’t I still see a zip tie holding that corner marker on? :D
Also, does the vacuum headlight popup system not work yet, or do you just like having the lights up? :P (Not judging, just curious! I actually like the lights up as I have a thing for quad round lights!)

It’s like a thing. Everyone apparently does. Must be a Toronto birthright.

Sounds like a keeper to me.

She’s a winner.

What you see is an oversized bolt holding it in. I removed all the vacuum systems because the cam the car runs doesn’t generate enough vacuum to run them. I’ll eventually convert to electric motors.

Coolness, good luck with the conversion! :D

Money well spent!
